After working for companies like Wipro and IBM in India, I decided to be an independent consultant focusing on Competency Development in the areas of Storage, Network Programming and Unix Internals. I also keep tab on the Virtualization space and am currently updating myself on C++.
Though I have registered a firm called ‘Yagnavalky Center of Competency’, I basically work as an independent consultant. I have worked in the area of content development and training delivery. I have addressed various topics including Storage 101, Deduplication, Virtualization, Serial Attached SCSI, Cloud Storage, Network Programming etc. I am a part time faculty for BITS Pilani and have also acted as visiting faculty for IIIT-B. Needless to say, I will be more than interested to work with your company in the areas of my expertise.
I have been working in the IT field for the last 22 years. The last job I held was as a General Manager in IBM India, heading the Project Management Office of the Offshore Development Center of a leading telecom vendor. Well, I have completed more than 15 months as an independent consultant and am loving the job!!
